Melissa

Registered Dental Hygienist

Melissa Cardenas is a registered dental hygienist practicing since 2002. She graduated with academic excellence from William Rainey Harper College with a degree in Applied Science of Dental Hygiene. She obtained her certification in the administration of Nitrous Oxide and Local Anesthesia from the University of Illinois Chicago, and recently obtained a certification in Theory and Practical Application of the Diode Laser for Hygiene.

Melissa moved to the Katy area from Chicago, Illinois. She enjoys outdoor activities including golf, gardening, biking, and running.

Cindy

Office Manager

Cindy Carey has worked in dentistry for over 34 years, starting out as an assistant in 1974, and later migrating to the business end of the dental field. She is originally from New Jersey and came to Texas in 1989. She is married with four grown children and when she is not spending time with her family, likes to swim, bike, play tennis, go to the beach, or keep busy with crafts at home. She still maintains her dental assistant license, and keeps current on the ever-changing rules and regulations of dentistry and dental insurance systems by regularly attending continuing education courses on those subjects.

She is always willing to help patients out with their questions and concerns regarding their insurance and personal financial obligations in respect to their dental treatment.

Cesilia

Registered Dental Assistant

Cesilia Torres has been working in the dental field as an RDA for about 4 years. She enjoys making patients feel comfortable. Cesilia loves working as a team member so communication is the key. She is also fluent in Spanish, which enables her to be particularly helpful to our Spanish speaking patients. She is patient and understanding, especially with our many patients who are afraid and hesitant in having their necessary dental treatment.

She is a hardworking, single mother to her 5 year-old daughter. Outside of work, she likes to get outdoors – especially on beautiful, sunny days.

Angela

Registered Dental Assistant

Angela Carvajal has been an RDA since 2010. She graduated from the College of Health Care Professions in Houston, Texas. In 2014, she obtained her certification in Coronal Polishing and Sealants. She loves to work and spend time with patients, helping them with any concerns, and being a part of their happy experience in the dental office.

In her spare time, she enjoys traveling with her daughter, going to the movies, cooking, and playing outdoor sports.

Valeria

Receptionist

Valeria joined our dental practice in August 2017. Originally from El Salvador, she has lived in the Houston area for over 14 years.

Luckily for us, she is fluent in Spanish, which has helped our Spanish-speaking patients greatly. Though this is her first healthcare position, she received some medical training in college.

She always has a positive attitude and believes it is her duty to make sure patients feel comfortable during their visit.

In her spare time, Valeria loves going to the gym and spending time with her family and friends.
